Nothing much happened, just that our birthday this year fell in the holy month of ramadhan. Just that, I was working during the date changed from 15th to 16th, which didnt count as I was borned noon of August, 16th, 39 years ago..... I feel very old :)

Went to pasar gadong, bought some food to break our fast @ Gadong, get our birthday cake which slided a bit because I didnt put it level in the fridge.....

This year first day of ramadhan, we went to KB again. I'm still hunting for my favourite kusoi, so this year I'm successfully drive a long way but failed to find the kusoi I want. I managed to buy one but the kusoi is not bouncy as a friend told me that a delicious kusoi is one that bouncy, hehehhe

I must have did something wrong yesterday. I accidentally synced my phone with my gmail account, all the pics synced to my phone and I deleted all the pics. And when I opened this long no post blog, the photos are all gone....

I guess it triggers me to blog something..... Like may be my re-ignited fishing hobby, easily get tired body due to mentally tired (as an excused), my new galaxy SII...

Many things happened but just that I am too tired to blog, to many things to think of.... too many............

After the sungkai @ Kitaro there was another one at charcoal, my small stomach was really filled more than my usual capacity, thus made me sleep late that night, probably due to I ate too many prawns.

This is may be my third round....

Also..... we went to visit our late realtives my other side's half..... last sunday morning...

hmmm what else did I do?

Ooooo I played fire crackers every night, till no more left, and I think I'm going to buy some more, this is going to be my first ramadhan that I loved to play those really loud fire crackers.

I managed to buy new songkok, replacing my 7 yr old one, bought new pair of shoes replacing my old shoes, worn out already.

Oh btw, does anyone found delicious kusoi @ gerai ramadhan in Brunei that is? I'm still looking for it....

On this day I spent alot in the room, went out @ 11am, then find something for the kiddos, just around Tines Square.... bought few things then back to the room.
Oh I had a make over, something funny and somewhat new and embarrassing. I bought tudongs and before that just wanna have the feel of it.... well it feels hot but gotta try...

I managed to embarrassed myself by wearing my glass mistakenly upside down where everbody laughs, and there's this lady, smiled at me... embarrassing but....

Priceless...........

But... Actually its already the 6th day..... Time does flies...... The Interesting rate of studying is now a bit in the low not so interesting zone, but not yet in the Danger zone. But today I just cant concentrate, doing something else beside the practical... Which isnt good actually but I dont know why.....

Back to the hotel early today, since our vito driver arrived early to pick us up, he managed to miss 1 junction btw hehehe so he made a u-turn at a newly finished not yet open road, apart from that the ride was smooth, thats what I thought, because I managed to snooze on the way to the hotel.

After a brief rest, we went to Low Yat again, since we dont have any idea on whereelse to go.

Darn after I typed alot, the internet was down, and the only text sved was those above. What happen to my day today..... So terrible.......

Day two is much better.... About 20 minutes journey from our hotel to Ericsson training centre, which is in cyber jaya. The instructor is a malay, but really knew what he is teaching, which equal to a good instructor.

Oh btw we woke up @ 6, I took me beauty bath soon after me room mate done..... Then have our breakfast in the 14th flloor, in the 7th ave, there're also manhattan and bronx in that floor, so basically we had our breakfast in the US...... :p. Like always when I have breakfast outside Brunei, I started with corn flakes, one of corn type that I can eat...... Then there were smoked salmon, beef bacon, and lots of choices.... But since mybstomach capacity was not that big, so I just eat a little.

Now back to training..... It was a very good first day, lots of new and refreshing memory things to learn about 3G. We had our lunch in the same building. Not as nice as lunch in Shanghai, but eating eastern food really feels like home.

After training we stop at our hotel, drop our things, kinda touch n go, then we went to Low Yat Plaza, do I have to explain about Low Yat..... And I managed to buy the screen protector for my ipad... Wuhuuuuu..... Then went around Bukit Bintang to have our dinner.... I ate Hailam Chicken Rice... kinda delicious or may be due to hunger.... Kidding......

Then back @ the hotel around 9 ++, I missed my date with my loved one..... Sorry love....... Anyway I'm really frustrated with the internet connection in the hotel, since we have 2 laptops and with only 1 LAN cable... Hmmmm so frustrating.

Now since all of us cant sleep..... We are now starbucking.... Well needless to tell whatbI'm having... Caramel frapp..... but no more new york cheese cake.... Too bad.....

Day 1 in Kay El

Its the first day, a tiring first day, might be because of travelling. Arrive @ KLIA just before 3 pm.... Then straight to Berjaya Time square Hotel..... then settle down at our room for awhile then we went out to find something to eat. Then we found out that there's no wifi access in our room, internet can only be access with LAN, its ok though but its kinda hard for us since both of us bring our laptop... hmmmmmm....

Funny thing happenened after our dinner, as we went back to our room, both of us tried our card key which we suspect doesnt work, then as we realized all of us ran away because it was the wrong door, all of us went to the wrong room, actually the opposite direction as we went out of the lift.

And now, I cant sleep though I tried.... So that is why I post this, though actually I really dont know what to say. About this hotel, its nice hotel, with big room nice view, big shower, toilet, all in all its really a nice hotel... I really dont know what to say.....

A lot had happened but this is the first.......

Yes really.... A lot had happened since I'm back from Shanghai. Some are fun but most just drained my energy, I guess another symptom of age factor....... :)

Anyway, the very next Monday after we arrived back in Brunei, most of us who went to Shanghai for training/ shopping :) were asked to attend another training in the hq. Its was only for a week but add that with the softball training that I skipped (due to lateness - fact), wasn't that really a tiring week?

Then the week after the 3g system training, the 2nd MB cup started - a softball tournament that was. It was a tournament that most of the games were played during the night at the Jerudong Polo Club. Thank you to the organiser for organising such a beautiful tournament, but too bad we managed only fourth placing. Congrats to the champion which I think the team from The Philippines - RTU. Well wasnt that a tiring week also.

So came this week...... A bit relaxing, slowing down, only tied up with work, which is nice actually, but some fun exciting but not really things happened, and some might asked what the h#*l I'm talking about..... Well here they are. The first Monday after Shanghai, I was told that the 3D TV arrived in Brunei..... Well its samsung but I didnt care, because I'm interested in 3D, I think since I was not so very young ago. Anyway I went kiulap to have a look at it and fell in love at the first sight, so I decided to buy one, is that exciting, but what made it exciting but not really was......... They dont have stock until today...... So I have to wait..... Well usually I didnt post anything that I not yet owned... But things different today I guess because of another one thing thats exciting but not really....

I bought a 16gb (supposed to be 32gb, but AV Electronics dont have stock) wifi edition and a 16gb 3G edition iPad. And ofcourse this is the first post I posted using the iPad. Well the wifi edition is for me darling and ofcourae the 3G edition is supposed to be mine.... Supposed to be......... Honestly...... with the iPad... My first thought was.... Regrets.... Well it looks like an oversized iTouch, that is why the regrets starts to creep in.... But as soon as I switched it on, everything just started, not the apps, but all the wows about it. For me I didnt regret it anymore tobuy the iPad, it's a very exciting piece of art, but........ The exciting but not really thing is that my 3g edition is out of stock, and yes I have to wait again....... And the reason I posted this is that I want my friends to know that I almost owned a Samsung LED 3D Tv and a 16gb 3g + wifi edition. Patience is always a virtue right. I hope I remember to twll you how much I love the iPad, if mine has arrived

Day 7

This was the most exciting day so far, with no more class to attend, woke up @ 8 am, brush me teeth, wash me face, then straight to my pc. Have breakfast around 9, after me took me bath, back to the room, back to me pc, then go out for sight-shopping-seeing.... is there such a word? hehehhe We went to lots of places seeing yet more people since its saturday. We managed to spent lots of yuan hehehhee. Luckily we didnt spent them in one shop, otherwise the owner will stop selling things hehehheh because of the yuans we paid. But thne again I forgot what else we did, not exactly true, but then again i dont know what to write actually.

Day 8

The day we went back to Brunei. I have such mixed feeling. For I have been sent to places for training, both for my current job and that my previous one, but this is the first trip that I felt difficult to left the place. I felt kinda sad to leave Shanghai, I cant find the reason why, but I felt its hard to leave.

But soon as upon arriving at Brunei International Airport, I forgot everything hehehhehe. As the rush of seeing my family :)

Now back in Brunei... back to the country where we can access almost everything :) with faster internet connection also.... So now blogging from the office before we start our in house training on 3G equipment....... Off to the training class...........

Day 3

Almost the same as day 2, have our breakfast at the same spot, went to the training place at the same time, went to the same place for lunch with almost the same dishes, but some of the new dishes we tried, pre-ordered by our co-ordinator were nice.

After the training we went to Xijiahui Road, further than Nanjing Road, to look for computer accessoties, and stuffs. Amazingly I didnt manage to buy a thing...... It was a nice place, not as crowded as Nanjing Road. We went there using the subway, Line 1, same fare 4 yuan. We manage to find a department store, but the prices there is the same as goods sold in Brunei if not a bit cheaper..... Really not much different from day two.

Day 4

The day started low for me. As I was sleepy as soon as I woke up. We had our breakfast, than in the bus on the way to the training centre, I slept. Unfortunately today, our bus driver, a new one is careless, driving dangerously. I was awaken by him, when the bus he drove knocked by someone from outside, the road was jammed since the driver used a different route. Something happened when the driver, I dont know may be tried to chnge lane and a bus behind nearly knocked our bus. I dont understand what they say but the other person may be a driver or a passenger knocked our bus chasis. We stopped there may be almost an hour, waiting for them to sort out the problem.

We arrived at the training centre around 10 may be, started our class late. Then we went to the same restaurant for our lunch. The dishes is nice but not as nice as the day before...... We ate anyway, luckily the lamb kebab were still there.....

After the training we went shopping again, around the people's circus, and I managed to buy few things, went to Starbucks Coffe to buy drink then back straight to our hotel room, freshened up a bit and face my laptop. Until now after my bath... before my beauty sleep, am sitting infront of my laptop.... i wonder if I can be seperated from it hehehehhe.

Anyway it's late and I have to snooze......

Day 5 & 6

Same thing, nothing new...... same time waking up, same breakfast, same training different chapter, but after that same shopping time but different places.... Same tiredness.... same late sleep..... So nothing much to say reaaly....

Day 1

Arrived around 1630hrs on Sunday, arrived @ the Jinrong International Airport around 1800Hrs,that is after clearing customs and immigration @ shanghai Pudong International Airport.

After a brief rest in room 812, all of us went around doing our first day shopping. I managed to buy a wireless router for our now known cyber cafe 812, which open daily soon after we woke up and back from supposedly our shopping.

So far Shanghai is very kind to us, there is a halal restaurant just in front of our hotel, and the shopping complex is not that far, just that the price is a bit expensive I think. Anyhow some of us managed to buy few thing on our first shopping trip.

Day 2

I couldnt have enough sleep. Well we slept late last night, and I woke up every 1 hour, may be due to unfamiliar with the environment, at least that is the only reason that I can think of.

Woke up @ 6 am, brush my teeth, wash my face and straight to my laptop, trying to find ways to access my blog and my friends' facebook. Since we found out that those and many more sites are blocked due to Chinese political reason. So as of this I cant post any picture other than the one that I have uploaded to the photobucket, thus explaining why I can ask you to click here like before.

Anyhow the Alcatel University is about 1 hour trip by bus from thne Hotel. It was a difficult 1 hour to re-adjust back to studying mode, but after that it webt well. Since our instructor is a chinese, he use simple english which can be understood easily.

The hard part was around 11 am, when my stomach really need to be fill up..... So hungry meehhhh..... Luckily the university took us to the halal food restaurant somewhere that I still dont know where, but the food was really nice, the kebabs, salads, chicken, bread, as for me who has this small stomach... I really enjoy the food, eat alot. I wish I could talk more about that.

But the best ending of day 2 was taht we went to Nanjing road, went there using the subway, line 1 cost us 4 yuan which is less than BND$1.... It was a busy street, lots of people of so many races, well majority ofcourse chinese... but true that lots of people there, I managed to shoot some videos but unfortunately hard for me to post it due to political reason meeehhhh.......

I managed to buy few things which really didnt satisfy me, yet I dont regret buying them..... It was a long walk, tiring, back aching (due to age factor) yet it was fun......

That wasnt the everything about our Nanjing road experience but it is very late now and I need to got to sleep....

I hope day 3 is much better, can wait to go to the same restaurant where we went for lunch... as promosed by our course coordinator.......

Surprise success

I skipped my softball training last saturday for 2 reasons. 1st reason was I wanted to rest my sprained ankle, my painful leg and my twisted knee which was caused by a jealous defender when I was playing soccer. Mind you, it was the same right leg that was broken twice already for playing the so-called peoples game, and the 2nd reason was that I wanted to try to cook the prawn with salted egg. So I went to the wet market buy those big prawns and went to buy the ingredients in the nearest supermarket. So as soon as iI arrived home washed my hands and started cooking.

They really didnt taste as bad as they look, infact they tasted nice if not very nice. Well I attempted to cook it last saturday, which was a surprise success, and it was not that hard. So I cooked the same dish again last sunday, just to confirm whether I can repeat the success or not. It proved that I can, thank god. Anyone who wanted the receipe just google it hehehheeh, mine was kinda secret hahahhahah. Good luck to those who wanted to try.....

Hmmm What to say......???

I went to Jakarta late February, for softball tournament that was. It was a fun tiring trip though, but it was really worth it. Really gained more and shopped less hehehhe. My team mates and I were flying with Air Asia, where we transit at KK and delayed for 3 hours. We were supposed to fly at 2200 hrs instead, we flew at 0000 Hrs +. Arrived at Jakarta airport 3 hrs later, then we found out that one of our bag was missing, which we found out later that it flew to KL, inside of that bag was my 2 softball cleats, and my team mate. gloves and softball cleats and my other team mate clothing. Imagine he as the owner of the bag, with some of his clothing inside that bag, well sadly he had to wear the same under wear for I think more tha 36 hrs.

Anyway, we arrived at the hotel almost 6 am, that was after we tried to arrange for the missing bag, which eventually arrived to us just before 7 pm the same day. With having just not more than 30 mins of sleep, we prepared for our first game which was set at 9.30 am.

We just won 1 game at the tournament, which really taught us a lot. Anyhow this post is not about the trip, nor the game we played. Actually its just for the video I posted. From the tired satisfied face of 1 week in Jakarta, where we all learned to speak Bahasa Indonesia. All in all the trip was really worth it.

What a month this month is for me..... Well its not that bad thoough, but after the carnival incident, another came. Last tuesday as I was out of my house junction, wanted to go to the "markas", to attend Zombies meeting, as I revved up the engine, then came the puff sound. My faithful bluebird engine died, kaputz, and all those related to money.

Well there goes my plan to go to Jakarta next Febuary.

According to my knowledge, the timing belt must have caused that sound which will cost my jakarta trip. As of now I dont know the exact cost since most car workshop full due to well the yearly bonus that hit the country.

So also, as of now I have to wait until I know the estimated price to fix the car, then I will again decide to go to Jakarta or not......

Hopefully 2010 brings me in more cash, much more less then for me to bring out hehehehhehe

My carnival..... thanks to the guy who is trying to modify it..... I parked my car last saturday night to buy isotonic drink, for I'm going to play futsal, then while I was queue-ing to pay my items, the salesgirl asked whose car is it while pointing at a direction where I parked my car.
So I said "Ya Allah, Kreta ku tu eh" soooo I paid my items put it in the car, then scratching my not really itchy head. I was calmed though, but really frustrated. But the guy will pay for the damages, but my heart surely hurt hehehehheh kidding... but ofcourse the thought of my car hit by another car wont be forgotten.....

Poor carnival, will send it today to the car hospital.... the tail light also cracked so I also asked the guy to replace it... Hmmm......

My first day of ramadhan..... usually I took my kids for a road trip to KB, but this year.... I spent my first day in RIPAS... Nothing wrong with me, just that my Arsyad is admitted in ward 3, for jaundice. So most of the day I am in the Hospital.

Then I tried to buy some foods for the sungkai near the Wet market in gadong, but it was hard for me to find car park so I went to tha stadium ramadhan stalls, same thing but with a bit of luck. So I bought my kids few foods, sent the foods home, then went straight back to the hospital.

He is my greatest birthday gift......

Last saturday..... his 1st experience having his haircut in an Indian barbershop. Surprisingly he wasnt afraid, nor cry...... Usually its one of us who shaved his hair, now he doesnt want to be shaved, he said he wanted to look handsome, so I took him there.

Its been so many years I havent visit any indian barbershop.... not because I have lots of $$$$$, but I hate it how they handle my head, pushing and turning my head as if the head belongs to a non-human.

Twice I went to Temburong last week, first on tuesday with a colleague via Limbang thus travelling using the car, and second time was on saturday, using the speed boat, which was more fun and less tiring. Well I felt riding as a passenger in a car was more tiring to travel to Temburong, which in difference using the boat only took 45 minutes. Both trips were work related, so it was supposed to be less fun. But I managed to snap a few photos.

On saturday night, DST celebrated its 14th anniversary, I purposedly didnt bring my camera so I snap a few using my "new" Xpress. That night was enjoying with the same comedians invited last year, made us laughed our heart out. But I wasnt as lucky as last year though, I didnt managed to win anything in thne lucky draw, hmmm I wonder how lucky those who won every year. Those lucky ............. Anyway the theme for that night was 1001 arabian nights, so most "arabs" attended the anniversary celebration.

I went to watch that movie last night. It was quite good actually, a really malay horror movie. The first five minutes was really thrilling, lots of screaming and for once, I dont mind people screaming and talking and swearing how stupid the movie is, not that the movie is kinda lame, but they were suspensed by the way they, the director and the crew manipulated our mind. But yes it was horrifying for some, including me, sometime jolted, surprised when the thing suddenly pops out. Well who doesnt even the guy sitting next to me screamed and sometime closed his eyes with his hands, luckily I can control myself, control the "machoness" hahahaha. But there were more than 1 ghosts in that movie, there were white ghost, black ghost, crying ghost, flying ghosts, running ghosts, standing ghosts, even ghost that cried in the toilet. Do you thing that ghost are trying to scare/haunt people, or that ghost just suffering, really struggling to "deliver", wahahahahaha. The make up is quite convincing especially the last make up, I like.

Anyway for me that movie is a 4 out of 5, one that I'm not satisfied with was that I was waiting, want-ing to see which part of that movie that shows thing/s or what or when we should just ignore, well the title is Jangan Tegur right, Will someone tell me? I wont spoil the adrenaline rush of watching that movie, but if someone have watched that movie, kindly tell me which part because as of me that movie was all about dot dot dot, oh just watch it, to feel the jolt :) and the movie is nice and horrorifying. Well that is a view from someone who seldomly watched malay movie, but then again, I think I will watch Syurga cinta, after watching the trailer ;), to get in touch with my soft side hehehehehe.

Watch the movie but Jangan tegur............ if you'd watched alone make sure you went home alone, but if you're not, and the extra person doesnt look quite like human then try to ignore it if you can hahahahah, unless you friend already look like something else. ;)

This is the latest addition to my world. I am supposed to wait for the Nokia N97 but my faithful W850i was sabotaged (just wanted to make it sounds gruesome), well the LCD was broken, has extra black line that make me hard to read sms. Used to use Sony ericcson phone, now have to familiriaze with the Nokia.

Area 51 - this one is not that place that're always mentioned in american alien movies or anything, but this one is where all aliens in Brunei are gathered to be sold, well not only aliens I think. Well actually its like kinda online catalogue (as for now for local market only ) for those enthusiasts who like/love to collect those action figures,you all can contact them by the numbers and emails they provided, well I heard last night from one of them that they are going to catalogue car model/s too. Do I sounds like I'm doing interview? Well I hope not. Last night I met a friend who was actually one of those who run the business, asked him few question bout area 51, because I kinda like their young ideas about business.

So what are/were, (were the already bought), in their blog are, as of now are action figures from various movies, comics. I heard they are selling it cheaper from anywhere in the world, well I think they do actually, and are selling like hot cakes. Well if its cheaper than anywhere else it is possible right. Well we talked about it for few minutes, I asked alot actually, but their ideas are good. Enough said already, you must click here toys8area51.blogspot.com to must go to the area 51. :) I heard they still have those limited editions action figures, some are not catalogue yet.

Life is very kind to me lately, well vacationsss wise. I had my vacation evey month starting December last year for 2 weeks, then a week in January n a week in February. Today I'm back to work from a week of intense mental and physical endurance to cut short :) from a softball tournament in Indonesia. It was really a very worthy trip, since it was about softball so cant speak much about it here, have to go to softball 44 to read more.

But life's never been this better. I hope it will last long, though of course some minor set backs lurking around, ( I can choose any words I like, right?) still...... my 2009 is more than what I anticipated.

My Labuan trip

The last time I went to Labuan was in 1992, went there with 2 friends but that was after I think 10 + yrs I didnt go there. Then after 17 yrs of no Labuan experience, I went there last week with also but different 2 friends. We stayed in...

A nice hotel. cost us RM$333 for a studio room with a kingsize bed, with extra bed and 3 breakfast. The breakfast for me was really nice with many choices, and the food I ate tastes delicious, again for my 4 yrs less younger taste buds. The pool was big, not deep. A good place to stay.

Anyway Labuan, as for me I dont know the difference. Is it developing fast or slow, I really dont know, not that I dont care but I really dont know, fortunately and not I managed to buy few things for the queen and the kids, but none for me, ooopppsss I lied, I managed to buy a toothbrush for myself.

There wasnt much to say about the trip apart from us swimming, shopping, kinda celebrating mimie's birthday, and oh I forgot about our dinner at Mawilla something, I didnt remember the name I thing seafood restaurant. I didnt bring my camera but Mimie did. The food were deliCious. We ordered fish, squids and the shark fin's soup. I know.... I know.... when the buying stop... the killing will stop.... but I can't resist the thinking of the taste of the soup. The restaurant is on a beach, so that dinner was really pleasant, but after that we walked back to our hotel, well we thought was near but actually was not, still... it was a good experience and ofcourse was a very good excersice. Can't say much about the trip, but all in all, for me it was a very good enjoying trip, hope my friends enjoyed it as much as I did, which I really did, and I am really looking forward for another Labuan trip, hope I cud make it as an annual event ;) if its alright with the queen. But I really want to go back to Labuan, next time hopefully purely on chillax no shopping and more Mawilla :) but cant promise no shark fin's soup :(

Two things happened that day, one was my Pwincess Fawah's birthday, her 4th. So it was just a day out for us. Well actually we took her to pick her own gifts which I think is a good idea. At least she knows whatever she wants, and lucky for me she picked a not very expensive gifts. Otherwise I'll regret my idea of asking her to choose her own gifts. Anyway she is 4 yrs old now, which also means I'm 4 yrs less younger ;) than at the time when she ws borned, which means I am closer to restart life, or is it just a reason to do silliy things again hehehehehe. Anyway didnt celebrate big on her birthday, just like our birthdays me and her siblings. Just giving her birthday presents and her aunt bought her a cake and my sister baked her the cupcakes.

Well it looked nice but dont tell my sis they tasted nice actually buuuut... for my taste buds..... too sweet, might be because of the peanut butter, well my taste buds are 4 yrs less younger right ......

But the other thing that happened that day was, the arrival of my 2nd iPod touch. Yes my 2nd, since I can't find the first. A friend rang me, which actually the phone call that I was really expecting, he asked me to pick the itouch at his place which i'm glad to do. So I went to his place, received the itouch, drove home and restart the joy of having an itouch. Not the same feeling as the 1st one though, but the feeling of missing something soon disappeared. Then I took my camera and start taking pictures of it, since I didnt do with the 1st, which I thought the jinx that caused the 1st to be misplaced, well me being superstitious.

The 2nd iChepol's touch, loving every second with it, hope I wont misplace it.

Remember the present I bought for myself.... the 8Gb Ipod touch.... well I can no longer touch it. I successfully misplaced it last saturday. How I really hate that. I tried to track back what I've done that day, but since tha age factor disease effects me, so I forgot where I've put it, or left it, or took it or whatever. Been looking for it in the car or in the room, or in the house even until today, but still cannot touch it. I dont know how I managed to lose something useful like that.
It felt like I'm missing something, because I usually grab it as I woke up to check the weather or the score for the english premier league or google anything that crosses my mind.

But now it's gone, oh well I guess I have to wait for my friend to come back from Perth tomorrow, whom I asked to buy a new one for me.... :)

Thats my lunchie hehehe, been so busy lately, not an excuse I know but yes really been so busy, after the holiday, straight to real job on standby, so to update isnt caused by lack of ideas nor subjects nor things I've done, just that the time and the lazyness been so overwhelming heheheh. Now back to the usuals again, well me and my small world, justg work and softball but lately been went out alot alone and with the queens and the princesses and the prince, who now know how to mimic anyone, and who likes to run around the shopping complex or hiding among the hanged clothes, and so on and so on. Well that is life isnt it? Btw I bought myself a 8Gb Ipod touch as my long overdue birthday gift which I usually buy myself every end of the year, which is in december usually since that is the month our salary bonus is paid wohoooo. oh well I've bought an Ipod video last time, so basically the Itouch is more for gaming as an alternative to the PSP. Oh well got to run, work again.........

Alhamdulillah he is now safe home, last saturday. Few tears shed, started by my nephew, which my sisters, nephews and nieces followed soon after. Well I shed few of mine too, well tears of joy right, who doesnt but I managed to control myself, which was quite hard actually since I was the one who drove them home and so unfortunately cant see him as I dropped them at the departure when they wanted to leave.....

So yes it was really quite hard to control, added by my dad cried in my car because he was happy to return home and he remembered about my brother's father-in-law who passed away early that morning.

(AL-FATIHAH.... May Allah blessed him and may he rest peacefully... Amin..... )

So yes, my dad cried over that too, because my brother's father-in-law (in the wheel chair)managed to see my dad before my dad left for Mekah and he also planned to see my dad after the pilgrimage, but Allah loves him more, so he passed away that early morning. So yes my dad mentioned that in my car when I drove him home. So yes its really hard for me to control my emotion, and shedding few tears wont make me lose my manhood right.....

Anyway at the airport... there were thousands of people, I dont mind the adults, but children....???? I didnt get it. how they bother to bring their kid/s along, when even I cant stand the heat. I was sweaty, my shirt was wet and if I throw my shirt in the river... most probably the fishes will be floating dead hehehehehehe. But yes we were all anxious waiting for our loved ones return home safe.....

But this i dont really get it. These two ladies were the unlucky ones to be my example, well a lot more passed this two closely parked vehicles where the spaces was really tight there were even people lifted their big luggage bag thru that tight space but didnt bother to go to the front of the ford transit or to the back of the ambulance, which is easier for them. Is it ignorant or lazyness? welll I dont know exactly.

Last week friday my daughters have their convo at the ministry of youth and sports building, I went there of course since I'm on leave wohoooo..... Anyway cant say much since I've almost forgotten thing about the convo.....

But she was 2nd in her class.....

btw pls lower the volume unless you want to wear a hearing aid hehehe just kidding, I was standing close to the speaker and using my sony ericsson phone so the quality werent that good.

Just us four went to watch Madagascar 2 Sunday morning, the movie is very funny, makes us laugh. It was also a very nice with ayah day out thingy, since I'm very busy lately.

She wanted to watch HSM3, but....

She wnated to watch Madagascar 2, since I am the alfa male :) too much madagascar I guess, so we watched Madagascar 2.....

Well he just watched 3/4 of the movie, the other 1/4 he slept peacefully on my lap, not really, he was snoring, like.... the alfa... no way I seldomly snored :) 1/4, the quarters hmmmmm remind me of my quarters :) hope I'm still their quarter.......

and our next day out will be us watching BOLTZ, isnt it cute the rat... or is it chipmunk, dont even think about it guys... especially my colleagues....

DST Carnival Day 3

Sunday the 3rd and final day, themed kids day, so nothing much surprising, there were games for kids, kids and parents, dances by the dances hehehe cant remember from where actually, so sorry but sounds like from studio c if I'm not mistaken but their dance routines were very nice, lucky I cant dance. Anyway I was there since before 10 am, but visitors were coming in as early as 9.45 am. It was yet another fun day, and for me... yes it was a successful 3 dau event. Laptops sold out, foods were great, games were fun, crowds were supporting, all in all everybody took part, well some just do more than the other, hmmm I think I'm included in the other :)

Fuhh feeling so tired today, cant think much, went home late last night at midnight after a 3G site upgrade, slept just before 1 am, hmm so sleepy I'm feeling.......

Carnival Day2

Day 2 was no different to day 1 except , more people came. Themed MTV day, VJ Utt, Reza of AF/Club pop and Yasmin Hani wachaa was there and also Faris, hmmm if you ask me who he is, well I'll say, give me a few minutes, let me goggle first ;) . Like day 1, kristal FM dj's helped to make 2nd day alive. As for me , I was feeling tired with blocked nose, so I just spend much of my time more standing than walking around. But ofcourse that saturday was fun. Oh and also there were fireworks, dance routine again, games oh I dont really know, most of that night, I was sitting near the landing pad, waiting for the firework.

They came too.... Arent they the right couple? I bet most couple envy them. Holding hands in the crowd, so romantic. Those who knew them will understand what I'm saying.

DST Carnival 2008

DST Carnival, Nov 2008, was very fun, and ofcourse tiring. The first day, Friday it was, started at supposedly 4 pm, but people came as early as 2.30 pm just to queue up for the laptop promo, which considered cheaper outside the limit hehehe can anyone explain that for me? please.

Anyway the first day themed, sports so celebrities from ESPN, tadada tadda..... were invited, the dances by the students of SMS school, (Seri Muda Sarjana), was very entertaining. Auntie May was there, making people laughs, the games, the flying fox, the foods, oh the list is very long.

Oh ya it was also in conjunction with the onthego thingy, supposedly for people who is on the go, to download things, watch mtv or espn, oh well just log on to http://onthego.dst-group.com/, try it with your pc, it wont work hehehehe.

I think thats enough to say for day 1, wanna go for breakfast first, friends already texting asking me where I am right now..... so day 2 next....

His Journey Began....

His Haj journey began yesterday morning, lots of relatives came to say goodbye, to pray for his safe journey and back. His siblings, half siblings, cousins, in-laws, relatives, friends even colleagues were there. It was a happy occassion at first, until it's time for him to leave, where tears are shed, even almost mine. Well it's kinda uncertain journey. I was chosen as the driver, which I dont mind actually, well honestly I felt lucky to drive him, the chosen to go to Mekah.

But poor me, I cant see him departed from the airport because after dropping him at the airport, and wanted to park my car, both my car front tyres stuck in the mud. Thanks to those who have helped me, May Allah rewards you all.

May Allah makes things easy for him and all Bruneian pilgrims, may they have a safe journey and back, and may they returned as the Al-Hajj Al-mabrur.... Amin.....

Went to serasa Beach, Just the four of us, away from everything, away from softball, since it was everything to me I guess. So.... four of us actually heading to Muara beach but since there were lots of people there, so we head to Serasa instead. Well there were people there... lots too, but we still manage to go there, enjoying the breeze and all.

In the end its just four of us heading back home again after spending bout 2 hrs there.

Aint that lame, those things that Ive said... oh well I'm distracted, I have to go somewhere in a few mins, work related....

DST Group celebrated raya with the specials, well this was my first time involvement in this kinda celebration, but it was really fun. Being among the specials, make me so not special, well me with my sensitive side, again.... I almost shed tears with mixed feelings... well who doesnt, my first experience right...... Being among them made me see things that I usually forgot to see. Some tihing like why am I keep complaining when there are lots who deserved more than I do. Well for us who love to complain, think again. Just to remind ourselves, we should thank god more..... for all that it matters.....

Its been a tiring but fun raya celebration for me. I've been driving the carnival here and there... almost everywhere.... well not exactly. But the truth is if I'm to check my sugar level, may be the doctor or the nurse will be fainted :)

For the 2nd ay of Hari Raya, I spent my day with my other half's family side. Didnt manage to go to lots of relatives' houses, because baby Azyyati just cant stop doing what she knew best...... crying...... but still... it was a tiring fun day.

Last Saturday, My family went to the Royal Mouseleum @ Jln Tutong to pay respect for my grands after we went to Damuan visit for our late mum. Well my grands resting place werent inside the mouseleum, dont get me wrong.......... FYI.... the parking lot here was I think the first street soccer in Brunei played, back in late 1970's. Well tell me if I'm wrong.. because I remember I played there with friends.... How old will this person be if he is alive today? If I'm not mistaken he is one of my close relatives.
Believe it or not..... this was used to be my playground, with less trees, pollutions and all. Now I guess the Kampong Ayer childrens just stay home play with their gadgets or @ least go to the swimming pool. Back then this was my swimming pool during high tide and football pitch during low tide. Some part, the soil was hard enough to kick balls hehehe, I guess we also invented river football hehehehee or was it the ancester of beach football *lol*

Last Saturday, we went to Blue Eden for sungkai, was just six of us, but it was quite a good fun experience. Not trying to be a food critic, but the $6.50 per head buffet was really worth it. They dont have that much choices though, but like I said, it is worth it. I started by well of course drinking plain water, then I drank the soup. It looked like just plain soup with crab sticks floating with some other ingredients, but tasting it was really quite a different experience. The soup really tastes good. Then I tasted the tang hoon, quite hot/spicy but nice, I love it. The menus were 2 types of rice, 2 different dishes of chicken, the tang hoon, the soup, I think rendang meat, and bamboo shoot which in italy, they called it fetucini hehehehe. That was a joke, well she thought it was fetucini. You know who you are. Anyway all the dishes taste good, really worth the price. Oh the milk tea tea also nice......

Then after the sungkai, we went cruising in the carnival as requested by the other guy in above pic ;) We went to Bandar Seri Begawan, take few photos, then wanted to go to Gadong area, unfortunately it was jammed, so we just head back to Kiulap where all our cars are parked except mine though :). It was an enjoying night, especially for me who's living in a small world :).

The augustians was finally celebrated after much delays, well @ least it was celebrated in the fasting month and.... we save a lot of $$$$$$$ yahooo.......... but that doesnt mean.... nah.... forget it hehehehe. It wasnt that usual type of celebration, no berbecue-ing, no eat all day well fasting right. But this year the cake thingy was cut after......
a hajat prayer for our dad... the leader of our clan hehehe the..... oh well he was having angioplasty which he requested since if he undergo the bypass surgery wont make it possible for him to perform haj this year. But off the record I still want him to undergo the bypass though, but that was his choice right, as was mine when the doctor gave me 2 options when I broke my leg. hey... that were options, his wasnt.... anyway now dad is recovering, hope he can perform haj this year amin...... Oh by the way the hajat prayer was after the tahleel for our late mom, grandads, grandmas, relatives and all the muslims that have passed away before us, may they rest in peace and

Fasting 1st day story

So how's your ramadhan so far? I wish yours are as wonderful as mine. My first day of fasting was kinda interesting. I took my 3 fasting princesses for a road trip to KB , and this year I managed to buy kusoi, from my favorite kusoi vendor since years ago. Last year I didnt manage to find their stall :)

Not this kusoi, this kusoi is taken from "The Wonder Has A Name: Brunei"

On the way to KB, only me was left awake the 3, well as you can see, they just cant manage to enjoy the scenery, how I wish one of them can drive hehehe

Then I planned to stop by the Tutong Ramadhan stall to buy thing for sungkai. So confident I was, thingking it was @ the same place as last year, so I drove there slow,. To my dissapointment/surprised/embarassed, it was moved to the Serambangun something market, which I found out the next day when I listened to the radio.

Then instead I went to the Stadium Ramadhan stalls which I really regret, because that place was packed with people. But I have to since my fasting daughters was wishing for their fav foods for their first sungkai. we managed to arrive home few minutes before sungkai buying few variety of foods.
By the way, I found out many sungkai/sahur promo @ simpur website. Just like someone did last year, but so sorry I dont remember who, *pssssttttt.... age factor*, but that was really helpful thanks :).
Anyway I would like to take this opportunity to wish y'all Happy fasting and dont forget to pay your ZAKAT.

31st August 2008, 5th birthday for my 2nd daughter, Fateen Syamimi Faqihah, it wasnt a big celebration. just us again, the same lot.

Well she was bragging of wanting this and that on her birthday, though the celebration was just the so and so type, at least she's happy to get all those things that she wished for her birthday.

My beautiful August

My August though not ends yet but turn out to be the best August of my life. Well why not I celebrated 4 times and given 3 wonderful gifts for my birthday. Well, may be for some its nothing but for me thoughh not everything but they are something. After celebrating my birthday, then came my first gift, my new ride, the real deal, the KIA Carnival, Sedona for some region.

It's a nice car to drive, 8 seaters, really spacious, diesel engine, well I love it. If I'm not wrong, to fill up the tank, costs BND$20-BND$25, but thanks to His Majesty's government, the fuel is subsidize, so yes, Alhamdulillah fuel is still cheap.

Then came my 2nd gift. The most beautiful/wonderful/priceless/pretty/... of the three.

Fateen Azyyati Falihah. My 4th daughter. 3.5 Kg when she was borned. That pic above was taken about 30 minutes after labour. So for those who barely knows me :) I became a proud dad for the 5th times.

Then the last gift, from my team mates, my brothers in sport, softball to be precise.

PLK Zombies crowned CHAMPION for the 2nd time for the Brunei National Softball Tournament 2008.

My New Ride

Well actually I wanted to reveal my new ride next week, since the "your friendly neighbourhood watcher" (if understand nice), have took that element of surprises, so I guess, I have to do it now. It is quite a nice car, supposed to be fast, but right now I think I just want to slow down a bit, well some say it needs the engine break-in. I just hope you all like it as much as I do.

I just dont know, what else to say, so I guess if you all want to see, I will show it, so that no one will tell you whats my new ride. Just afraid that this time CNN reporters will break the news, ooops sorry there is someone that delivers tha news faster than anyone iiiiiiitssssssss your friendly neighbourhood watcher hehehehe, keep your story to yourself or the watcher will tell everyone ;) Dont be mad, I dont know who you are, I am just joking to reduce my stress level, which was caused by lots of arrangements I made for the past weeks and for the element of surprise that someone took. Darn I m really mad..... anyway ;) HERE is my new ride.

It was my birthday yesterday. Like previous years, I dont like to celebrate my birthday, I told almost everyone about that, but nobody ever asked why. May be they just dont believe me. Any way, to avoid my birthday beimg celebrated, I went to have my breakfast alone, relaxing my mind, wishing that no one would like or even think to celebrate my birthday. But ofcourse I dont the power to stop thing/s beyond my control.

Well actully yesterday, there was a picnic that I attended, not to celebrate my birthday though. It was actually my workmates day out. Just to relax, reduce stress, and enjoy the weekend. The picnic was @

I stayed there for a few hours, ate as many lamb chop as I can then went home, took my shower, checked my email, then went to sleep and only awoken when They celebrate my birthday. It was a very good surprise, it certainly was... but I dont like my birthday being celebrated. But to be awoken to a birthday cake, well who can resist.... they pay for the cake right.

So that was it, you think, well that was it, that was basically my 16*08*08. Well not exactly, there were hidden/sensored details about yesterday, on why I dont like to celebrate my birthday. Only have the smile during the cake thingy ritual, before and after that it is really not nice. But birthday presents thingy will definitely make my day :)

@ least it not the worse 16*08, but I really pray for the next 16*08 will be a lot better....

After watching a softball match yesterday, went to Jerudong beach just want to shoot few pics. Well a friend said that there's nothing nice here, well I dont know, I just took a few shots then left, since my mind was thinking there's nothing nice here.

Anyway, ever wonder why our sea doesnt produce more fish like last decade, well this is one of the reasons. They just wasted small fish they caught, I remember when I still live in the "Venice of the east", I can caught variety of fishes under the jetty, and during low tide, I caught shrimp just using my hands, now..... pollutions takes it tolls, and also those wasted small fish, how can we change all these.

Another birthday celebration yesterday, for my 2 nieces, Happy Birthday to both of them. I was having a very long day yesterday, the celebration and my phone kept ringing since night before. This is my standby week, so not having enough sleep is one of the fact that I have to go through, and there are planned job to do during the sleep time, almost everynight of this week. Cant do anything about it, even this morning I arrived home at 4 am, woke up at 6 am and went to work. Well I have to go to work, because I have site/s to attend, and I'm really tired, but I'm happy :). All swells ends well.... right?

A friend's birthday

I was invited to a friend birthday celebration, last friday night. Well at first I didnt promise to come since I've something else to do, but then I cancel that something and went to the Taurean Cafe instead, that was where the celebration was held. Well I was the only uncoupled person in our table, so my night was slow starting, anyhow I managed to feel alive towards the end. Well my age factor syndrom attacked me that night, when I forgot where I kept my Lens cover, which !st I thought I've left it in Taurean, then I thought the other camera owner ;) must have mistakenly (so sorry) bring my lens cover, wow it is hard to find a word so that I wont offend anyone which I didnt intend to. Anyhow mine lens cover was in my camera beg. So sorry for the troubles I made, didnt mean to trouble nor offend anyone. The birthday guy, he told me that he is only 21 yrs old hehehehe just kidding....Happy birthday friend/brother, may Allah blesses ur life with all the good things in life.

Ish... what to update..... what to do.... Got nothing to say, got nothing to do, so lets just start there shall we. Let see where I will go, isnt about creativity, I think its about letting my mind wandering. Have you ever let your mind wandering like what I'm doing now. Well most of my friends knew that I cant stop thinking, and also most of them knew that if I jog for a long time, means that I was actually in a deep thought. But now letting my mind wandering and my fingers typing is something new for me.

You all might be bored with what I'm typing, but right now, seems like I cant force myself to stop, can you force yourself to stop reading this supposedly useless post. Well the power of our brain and the stubborn thingy of ours. Notice that our brain wants us to stop reading yet still reading it and I'm still typing things just to make you keep reading. Well I think I better stop, because all I wanted to tell is that my camera isnt with me at the moment, and I dont have any idea on what to post without my camera. Have a nice day. Now anybody can tell what can u do with unused cd and a gear from a toy car?

well..... this 2 yrs old boy keep calling me and pointing to the cd tellimg me its the ubakh angith.... @ first I just said yes I know ubakh angith without actually understand what he wanted to tell me, since I was floating in my own world reading a new malay novel that I bought earlier.
After seeing him blowing the cd, I laughed, as I understand what he was trying to tell me. Ubakh angith = ubat rangit ( as he was told by us) = mosquito coil. He imagine the cd as the mosquito coil and the gear as the stand. Actually twice already he played the real mosquito coil and burn his fingers touching the burning end of it.

After he blew the cd imagining blowing the coil, then he touched it and act like he was crying and complaining that he got his finger burned and ask me to do something about it, which I just blow his finger and said that its already ok, he smiled and do those thing all over again until he's tired and found something else to play with, or jumping on the bed just to get the intention, my intentions.

Last Saturday me and the family went for a picnic @ serasa Beach. I think this is the first time we went out for a picnic, I mean where there were just us. Oh well there's always be first time isnt it? ;) The only regret was that we didnt bring spare clothes, otherwise it'll be a splashy sunday. The tide was high, really nice to have dip and sun burn later hehehehe.

The newly born boy addition to the family, borned on the 17th of June, weighing 2.8kg. The first for my sis-in-law. Congratulations to both of them, that is because may be I forgot to congrats them, hmmm I think I do forgot. Well anyway congrats to them, may both of you have a very pleasant sleep in days/weeks/months/@ least 1 year to come ;).

This is what we meant by "sleep like a baby". They sleep anywhere :)

Muara Beach

My workmates set up a picnic yesterday which was supposed to be in Serasa Beach. Well I was the first to be there and tried to find the best location to set up the fire for the berbecue.

Unfortunately it started to rain, so we packed up everything and move to Muara Beach and we started everything all over again. Luckly we dont have to wait long for the rain to stop, otherwise we wont taste the marinated chicken wings, lamb chops, prawns, fishes, clams and the sausages. Sounds delicious arent they? Well that is because they were.......

Well Muara Beach nowadays is a very nice place, lots of improvement, even the beach are clean, ofcourse they are some idiots who threw the rubbish as if their mother would pick them up and also vandals who really dont know how to appreciate things provided by the government, as if they can make them look better by vandalising them. Was @ the beach until 5 pm, then went straight to softball practise. It was a fun tiring day for a guy like me who's living in a very small world.

Just finished reading this novel. It was really a very very good one. It makes me feel like I'm the main character, "Fahri". It feels like I was watching the movie, the character really turned alive, well some part of it makes me feel really sad. Anyway now I will watch the movie after reading the novel and be preparing myself to shed few tears..... hehehehe. Actually I do hope to shed a tears since its always hard for me to understand malay movies. Not that I dont understand the language, but with malay movies, it seems like I always dont understand with the plot.

Anyway to those who haven't read this, please do so, in this novel, I found new good things, teach how a muslim should interact with non-muslim and many more. Hope you'll find it interesting too, and shed few of your tears.

Diarrhea oh diarrhea

Diarrhea oh diarrhea..... and its not a song. Last monday evening I was really in a bad shape. After a softball training @ RBRC, my stomach got upset, like..... really upset. first I thought it was caused by the imbalance of the acid or the enzyme, then around 8 pm it tuned into a very painful experience. I have to wake up every hour just to go to the rest room. Really was a bad experience, painful stomach, frequent visit to the rest room, and so on, but thne again, I just cant do anything with it during that night.

So the next morning, went to see the doctor, went to a private clinic, and he asked me to swallow 3 types of those four colourful pills. Well I was given a 1 day medical leave by the doctor, so I just sleep the morning over and by afternoon I'm feeling better. But since yesterday morning I haven't visit the room ;) hope nothing else bad will happen to me.

Temburong trip

Last Sunday I planned to watch the softball final for the Wanderers Tournament, but instead was called by a colleague that there were problem 2 Lakiun base station, so I went there with my other colleague, just to confirm what the actual cause was, and we found out that the power cable was cut may be by the excavator, do I spell that right.... hmmmm hope so. So we contacted the DES personnel, who was very helpful, telling us that the power will resume the next day due to the weekend. Anyyway It was a fun trip, since my last Temburong trip was on 07.07.07. I just hope I go there again on the 08.08.08 hehehe. Oh darn, as I check the archive of my last trip, those things that I wrote is almost the same thing as I wrote, hmm should I change them, I guess I just leave it that way since it was the same place I went to and the same colleague I went there with, what am I talking about, something must have gone wrong with me today, I just cant stop talking, and now I just cant stop typing, must I stop hmmm, I must be stressed, am I? oh well let me answer that question myself... hmmmm.... Anyway when we went to the bangar town, there were a roadshow, so the town was kinda alive a bit, with lots of Temburongians gathers to watch or took part at the games arranged by the organizer, dare not to say the name of the organizer. Oh swell, I think I've said alot in this post, I wonder why.......

Roadshow JP Saturday Night

Went there just about 7 pm, I wasnt feeling well but then again I just wanted to be there to see how things were going, being part of the roadshow, of course wasnt do much, I was a bit drowzy but surprisingly I had the appetite to eat the dream conez which I regreted since I became more unactive. Lucky Bang Nul was there to accompany me, at least by then I have someone to speak with since I was by myself before he came. well ofcourse I met my colleagues but my mood was really swinging from good to bad to good to bad, I was feeling drowzy. We managed to catch some pictures of the last night fireworks, which I was still learning, so I just set my camera to the setting I think I desire hehehe and just press the button which I set to multiple burst.... Well I like some of them, but most are now deleted because of my unsteady hands. More images HERE.

DST roadshow @ JP Amphitheater

After the launch @ Empire Hotel on the 01/05/08, which I regretfully didnt bring my camera, on the 02/05/08 the DST broadband roadshow started at the JP Amphitheater, it was fun, colourful and lots of people. There were kristal kids idols performed and also other stage preformances. Also included were games/contests for kids and not forgetting the lucky draws.

As for me I was busy snapping photos and ofcourse eating, the chicken kurma was nice and the orange syrup really quenched my thirst. Anyway there were also the prize presentation for the Simpur's/Brunei best bloggers.

Their birthdays were celebrated yesterday... not fell on the same day though, just an eat-all-day as an excused to eat all day occassion, or whatever that means... hehehehe. Start eating from just before lunch time and the food were left on the dining table and topped up and replaced with new menus, I think until dinner which around 6 pm. Unlucky for me I have small stomach or is it I dont eat much nowadays, or... may be I would like to maintain my weight hehehe just kidding with the weight, to those that are sensitive with the weight thingy, if understand..... nice ;)
